This version of the test uses YAHOO.util.Dom.setXY(). On my 900 MHz iBook, the dragged item only catches up with the cursor when I stop moving my mouse. Very slow.
Drag the div. To isolate the suspected performance problem in Yahoo! UI there is no mouse up handler. Use cmd-R on Mac or ctr-R on Windows to refresh the browser and to start the drag again.
